Burt's Bees are one of our favourite brands and have many great gifts including the head to toe starter kit and our best selling lip balm. Burt's Bees believe that what's not in their products is as important as what is. Certain synthetic ingredients, like phthalates, petrolatum and DMDM Hydantoin, should never be used in any personal care products labelled "natural."

Burt's Bees are renowned for scouring the earth to find the most natural, effective ingredients to put in their products. They use only natural colours in their people-care products. As far as fragrance goes, they use it only when necessary, and it is always phthalate-free.

Burt's Bees manufactures their products with natural ingredients using minimal processing such as distillation/condensation, extraction/steamed distillation/pressure cooking and hydrolysis to maintain the purity of those ingredients. In addition, every product has a "natural bar" which gives a percentage of natural ingredients in that product, often with detailed ingredient descriptions.

This was a much appreciated Christmas Present. I like the Burt's and Bees Kits, because they contain a large assortment of products thus making experimenting easy, plus the small containers are nice to carry around in the purse.

A fantastic kit, contains all you need for well conditioned hands and feet. I particularly like the lemon butter cuticle cream and the beeswax and banana handcream as they smell divine. Recommend this kit as its perfect for a gift for yourself or a friend or family member.

I sent this this as a birthday present. It arrived on the right day with a card. It was a lovely surprise and it is a lovely item.
